Aims
Exelin worked with Skanska on two specific construction projects:
Glenfrome School in Bristol – a project to extend and refurbish a Bristol Primary school over the school summer holidays; and
The housing development of the former Battersea Power station in London.
Actions
We worked with the Skanska teams and their partners to map the whole build process including procurement, logistics, assembly and sign off to develop a robust operating model for future projects.

Outcomes
Cost and time savings of 44% and 60% respectively have been recorded, plus additional benefits in terms of safety, quality and sustainability.
For the Battersea Utility cupboards, the rate of production was doubled compared to traditional methods of construction.
