Improvement Apprenticeships

What could a cohort of continuous improvement champions amongst your workforce achieve for your business?

Using your Apprenticeship Levy or government funding, we’ll train and mentor a group of your employees enabling them to deliver business improvement initiatives, developing your people and improving performance.

Exelin's Improvement Apprenticeships

Continuous improvement is the lifeblood of our business, so we are well placed to deliver our Improvement Technician and Improvement Practitioner Apprenticeship programmes.

We deliver two levels of Improvement Apprenticeships, both of which can be delivered to up to 16 learners per cohort:

Level 3 Improvement Technician - duration 14 months

Apprentices will grow their current continuous improvement knowledge and skills, engaging others to support the improvement of performance.

Focus is on key knowledge, skills and behaviours required for the delivery of improvement activities at work. This apprenticeship is suitable for employees who have some responsibility within an operational team.

Level 4 Improvement Practitioner - duration 18 months

The Level 4 Improvement Practitioner apprenticeship uses a blend of Lean Six Sigma methods alongside project and change management principles. This is to identify and lead the delivery of change across organisation functions and processes.

Focus is on key knowledge, skills and behaviours required to lead smaller projects, tackling issues using problem solving or in-depth analysis and implementing a range of effective and sustainable countermeasures.

Smarter working and increased profitability

The Exelin approach to Improvement Apprenticeships inspires your existing employees to deliver tangible and measurable improvements as part of their everyday responsibilities.

Continuous Improvement 'experts' become an integral part of your workforce. Your business will benefit from the growth in capability and capacity of your staff as they more positively influence the bottom line and the people around them.
