Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology
Exelin was invited by the senior management team at Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology to develop a Leadership Programme for their front line supervisory team of Lead Technicians. The goal was to enhance their leadership competence and confidence to get the best out of their staff and processes.
Mulberry, the luxury fashion house, famous for its handbags contacted Exelin when they were looking to increase output from the factory in Chilcompton, Somerset, before investing in their new £7.5million Bridgwater based factory which opened in 2013. The existing factory had grown to the point where there was no further space for expansion.
Arc Energy Resources
The increasing complexity in the projects Arc Energy’s UK offices were delivering had generated a need to up-skill a range of their staff to manage multiple, interconnected projects, as well as improving the efficiency of their project management function across the business.
Exelin worked with Skanska on two specific construction projects:
Glenfrome School in Bristol - a project to extend and refurbish a Bristol Primary school over the school summer holidays; and
The housing development of the former Battersea Power station in London.
The Royal Bath & West of England Society
The Royal Bath & West of England Society CEO, Rupert Cox contacted Exelin after he had difficulties finding suitable leadership training for his senior staff, including three experienced leaders and three aspiring leaders. Initial discussions also highlighted a large proportion of project work being carried out by The Royal Bath and West team – another area which Rupert felt his team would benefit from receiving support on.
